Review on FEXON Tailgate Actuator Assembly 1647400635 by Kenny Beyer

I have a 2008 ML350 and this part fits and works perfectly. The OEM part (I haven't looked into this one) contains plastic gears and over time, after many uses, they will wear to buckles until they won't engage. After 11 years, my original has finally died. The hardest part of the installation is taking the plastic panels off without breaking the pins, but once you've done that it's incredibly easy. Save yourself a few hundred (at least) and just buy this part and fix it yourself if your latch stops working.
