Update: The color issues I was having were due to a misconfiguration of the default drivers for this monitor. Even the drivers on the ViewSonic website are set up incorrectly. This monitor was set to the restricted RGB mode by default, even after resetting to the default setting via the monitor's OSD menu. This can be fixed using Nvidia/AMD/Intel Control Panel software. Nvidia Control Panel: Under Change resolution, set the output dynamic range from limited to full. AMD Control Panel: Set Pixel Format from Limited RGB to Full RGB. Quantize range set to "Full Range". Original Review: If you just want a cheap monitor and price is more important than color accuracy, then this is definitely the buy for you. This monitor is IPS but not a good IPS. They advertise "ultra wide" viewing angles, but the viewing angles are actually very narrow. So narrow that you have to sit directly in front of the monitor and at least 3-4 feet away from the monitor. In addition, color accuracy is poor and colors are washed out, particularly yellows, oranges and some reds. Last but not least, this monitor has terribly bright blacks.
