I gave this one star in hopes buyers would appreciate it. Otherwise I would have given three stars - it was ok. Here's why with one star. the inch side of the tape measure is absolutely wrong! That's an inch more than five inches! The other side of the tape (which is used in most other countries - mm, and rightly so). I didn't buy this specifically for the band, I wanted some accessories and I wanted a box that would be great for knitting supplies and fit in a small knitting bag. I contacted the seller before writing this review. I did not get an answer. The strap is made in China judging by the label on the strap. I'm not saying don't buy this! I say throw away the tape when it arrives. I learned when the caliber sample did not work as usual. which is not normal for me. A friend measured this for me while shaking my head and the gauge was right on her tape measure. We compared two tapes and the rest is history :-).
