Great for the price. The movement is grainy and crisp, even after sanding any burrs off the edges. I had to grind the island a bit to get it perfectly flat, but that's to be expected from a tool at this price point. Weight corresponds to size, labeling is clear. To be honest I'd rather not have metric markings - I have to partially turn it over to read imperial units as the cm reading doesn't help. It takes a few turns too much to loosen and tighten when adjusting compared to my PEC 12". I'm seriously considering having a 12" monitor alongside my PEC - it's nice to be able to set multiple combo squares for different readings when creating layouts.
