I had to tag 44 streetlights in our area with assigned service numbers (from 1 to 44). 1, 2 and 3 just weren't enough, I had to make additional letters or higher numbers. I wasn't sure how they would work with the extra cutting treatment, but I found that they would stick to outdoor metal lamp posts in the winter when it was snowing and graying. Before I taped the number to the lamppost, I had to make sure I wiped away any dust, dirt, and moisture from the lamppost.
