Wrong power, best iron
I ordered a 300 watt model and the packaging said it was a 300 watt unit. However, this device only consumes 200 watts. Heats enough for my needs. According to my uncalibrated infrared thermometer, after 25 minutes of high heat, it reached 650 degrees Fahrenheit and its tip began to glow red. It melts electrosolder in 10 minutes (440 degrees Fahrenheit).
