CJIS helped me to find a new vendor for a project that was due to be completed by another vendor.
I worked with CJIS for 3 months to help my agency get over budget on a project that was due to be completed by another vendor. CJIS went above and beyond to ensure we got the project done right. Not only did they come up with creative solutions to the problems we encountered, they provided documentation to support those solutions. CJIS has an extremely talented group of people who were able to solve even the most complex challenges with ease. When we initially spoke about the project, CJIS said that they would take 2 weeks to look into it. Within 1 week of starting the project, they had presented us with 3 potential vendors. One of the vendors didn't have experience in the type of software we required, so CJIS spent another week looking into his/her background. In the end, we decided to use a different vendor because they had a better fit for our requirements. However, CJIS was able to save us tens of thousands of dollars, in comparison to the original estimate. I am very impressed with CJIS' expertise and attention to detail. They understand what it takes to get a project done right. If you're thinking about getting any kind of IT contract, CJIS should be your first stop.
