Very useful, user friendly platform for internal investigations

The ease with which I can use this software has been great! It is easy to navigate in order to find what you need when there are multiple options depending on your request or matter at hand. There have not been any flaws that come to mind as far as using this product goes but if anyone does feel like they could be improved upon then maybe it's time to look into other products out there because this one works well enough so no complaints here. This is a good product for those looking to migrate their data from another application.

I used to work for a large IT vendor and it was great to see a smaller competitor that offered something unique (that I had never seen before) take over my position at my old company. FOIAXpress made the transition seamless and took care of my former coworkers and customers who may want to switch to them. It's very user friendly and straightforward to use. Customer service is also excellent. It takes some getting used to, but once you get going, it's pretty easy to navigate. Very helpful…

  • A little confusing when you first install the product but once you figure out what to do you'll be fine.
  • You can build reports and dashboards very easily and export them into formats that others can read.
  • Very fast response time from their support team.
Cons
  • You cannot change fields without a programming knowledge which might limit the ability of some users.
  • Limited free plan does not allow for multiple projects so you'd have to upgrade for those.

FOIAXpress is a web based application that allows you to search and download documents from the US government.

In my opinion, FOIAXpress is a huge step forward for transparency. Its powerful search and document discovery capabilities allow us to quickly identify records, and it also allows users to easily retrieve and download any number of pages at once.
