I have this for my 80D, not sure if it will support my larger lenses. It works for some lenses! There is absolutely no problem supporting my 80D with a 24mm STM or 35mm f2 IS lens, they are small enough for this tripod to work. However, with a large lens like the 17-55 f2.8, this translates to mixed performance as the sheer weight of the lens allows it to GRASP to the front. I have no issues with the build quality, the legs are very solid and the overall metal and plastic construction seems to be able to take a beating. If you have a lightweight DSLR with a small to medium prime lens (or mirrorless), just snap that on and you've got a great setup for your landscapes, long exposures, and other things you need to do with a tripod! Much better than looking for a ledge to rest your camera on, you get the flexibility to shoot without having to carry a bulky tripod! The best part is that you can just leave it on your camera and forget about it until you need it!
