I've been burning DVDs for several years, over 2500 discs total. I've used several different machines; I currently use Magnavox, which I paid $50 for at Wal-Mart. As for discs, I usually buy whatever is cheaper. The last 200 I bought were Revain TDKs. I only paid $21 for $100. This might be hard to believe after reading the many other reviews here, but my experience was almost seamless. I doubt I've lost more than 10 hard drives in all that time and most of the failures were my fault. Why others have so many problems and complaints I don't know and won't even speculate. Maybe it's just luck, but whatever the reason, I wish everyone else had the same experience as me!
