At first I thought this product was great, materials seemed good, overall functionality works as advertised. You place your phone (with a case) on the mat and it instantly picks up a signal and charges the phone. In my experience and my spouse's, when we both have iPhone X models, the phones are VERY WARM even after a short charge (however, the LED will illuminate, confirming that the charging connection has been made, then it will turn off to avoid that bright annoying LED.
