Excellent quality yarn

I ordered a simthread thread to see how it would work in my babylock. When I saw the thread I was pleased with the colors and glitter. I used several colors from the same family to shade the little bird and I think it turned out pretty well. The thread was strong and I had no problem pulling the starting end out of the cone. I am very happy with it and will order again. I did two projects. The first was a set of four napkins with a simple flower on them. Napkins are made of polyester and are very slippery. They are also thin and easily deformed. I let her go in tears. I had no problems with the thread at all. The second project was made out of a sack of flour on a kitchen towel. I was experimenting and being lazy, so I got wrinkles, but that's the operator's fault, not the towels or threads. I decided to float on a layer of vilen. The towel really needed to be rolled up otherwise if it floated I had to use the ripper. I read where others have successfully sailed the Vilena. I'm not happy with folds, but the thread is sewn up nicely. It was a VERY hard stitch. I haven't had any breakage or shredding issues. Overall I'm very happy with this thread and am planning to buy some colored and metallics. There is a comment that would make it easier for me to use this thread. Color numbers are indicated on the bottom of the cone. I keep my threads in a plastic lined box and prefer the color number where I can see both the number and color without having to remove the spool from the storage box.
