NOT gift quality for dining and entertaining
One didn't work right out of the box. I've tried different batteries but to no avail. Luckily it was purple - I wouldn't call it purple. Blue above and red below. They were just for me, so I'm keeping them. But definitely cheaply made and wouldn't make a good gift, at least not for the ones I liked. They are also quite difficult to use as they are very thick and don't hold much. More topics of conversation.
