I had 3 rechargeable bottle openers and they all had the same issue: the batteries eventually stopped charging and could not be replaced. This time I went with this knife that you put in 4 AA batteries. I had it up to 4 months. now he helped us get through the COVID-19 quarantine! Opened 3-5 bottles a week and still using the first 4 batteries. Today it works just like it did in the first open bottle. The foil cutter is simply the best I've ever used. Period. Attaches to the device like a stand. I can recommend this device unreservedly.
