Suitable for 4 Samsung security cameras, too hot for 8
Bought an 8 splitter for 8 Samsung Wisenet 4MP outdoor cameras with night vision. Although he appeared to be working 8 cameras, he was too hot for me to trust while I was gone. I had a 4-way splitter handy and since it fitted this cable I tried 4 cameras instead. This cable did not overheat with 4 cables, so it is more convenient for me to use it for 4 cameras. Now I'm deciding if I need to buy multiple cables and 4 splitters for additional cameras, or if I just look for a better cable that actually takes 8.
