OEM filter? best in air filters and accessories

I ordered this as an OEM replacement filter for my 2015 Subaru Outback. It came with every "official" Subaru tag, with ONE BIG difference. The Subaru filter should have a directional arrow showing the correct location in the filter box. It was completely devoid of directional arrows. I removed the existing/dirty filter, noted which way the pleats were facing, and installed it the same way. It fitted well but left me with some doubts about how OEM this filter really is. Next time I will just buy it from a local dealer as the price is very similar.
