I was initially a little hesitant to put this on the edges of my LV phone case, but after returning my case and replacing it with a new one and tearing it again at the edge a few months later, I turned to this product. To my surprise, it worked great for sealing the rim. Not only does it fit perfectly and no one can tell it's glued on, but it's easy to use and durable! I've used it to mend my purse handles, my husband's belts (which he doesn't want to part with), and the list goes on and on. I suggest applying with a fine artist brush or cotton swab. I've used both methods and personally I found the Q-Tip easier as it applied the product evenly. Apply a thin layer, allow to dry (it dries in minutes) and reapply if a thicker layer is desired.
