Review on Premium Heavy-Duty Hammock Straps (12Ft) X 2 With Carabiners - Easy Adjustable Suspension System For Tree Hanging, 2200Lbs Capacity, No-Stretch Nylon Camping Straps With Storage Bag by Tyler Owens

Was put together backwards

When I initially hung my hammock up with these, they would not hold the hammock up at all. Luckily I own a pair similar to these made by another manufacturer so I know how they should work. When I inspected these I discovered the straps had been placed in the locking mechanism backwards. Once I lulled them apart and restrung them the correct way, the hammock stayed up.However, I could hear the strap micro-slipping on occasion when I laid down in my hammock (I weigh over 200#). I added a slip knot to the ends to ensure I didn't wind up suddenly on the ground. As I stated, I own another pair of these and have used them for several years without slipping so I'm not as confident with this set.The material used on these do seem a little thinner than my other set so I'm not sure how long they will work. Seemed to stretch a bit.Easy to use once fixedSturdiness and durability questionable.

Pros
  • ✅Unique metal buckle easy to adjust hommock straps length. Hold up to 12KN.Installation instructions include.
Cons
  • High Cost - Compared to other hammock strap options on the market, the Premium Heavy-Duty Hammock Straps are significantly more expensive. This might not be a major issue for some, but it could be a dealbreaker for those looking for a more budget-friendly option
