I bought them for my 15 year old niece. The description said they were made of surgical grade stainless steel. Even if it were steel I'd be surprised. She was very careful with her first one, just trying to make it a little smaller so it wouldn't fall out of her nose. it broke in half. I figured she might be a little rough on it, so I grabbed another one from the bag and very carefully tried to attach it to my nose (black in the picture). It broke like a dead branch. The metal resembled ordinary pot metal and was very thin. It was a huge disappointment. It should be a fun little distraction for them. She's allergic to nickel so I took the rest from her because I'm not even sure what metal they're REALLY made of. too risky. Save money and shop elsewhere.
