I ordered them medium and wear a women's US size 10. I really wish I had ordered them a small size because they are a bit larger than I would have liked and tend to slide down when I wear them to roller derby. They seem to offer excellent protection from falls and bumps. I've fallen a few times since putting them on and hardly felt it on my hips or buttocks. My only complaint is that they are a bit itchy around the waist and irritate your skin unless you wear them over another piece of clothing. I always wear leggings underneath. I would definitely buy them again because of the low price and the good protection.
