I couldn't wait to check it out as I was hoping it would turn out the way I had envisioned it. I wanted to set up 3 screens that are mobile friendly. these screens are the answer! That's easy! The screens have a USB connection, not a power plug. Just plug them into your USB ports and you're done. There was no software download for my 2019 HP laptop. I have now set up 3 screens for easy mobile use. Laptop in the middle, two new screens bought here on the sides. You don't need a separate power adapter, but you'll want to connect your laptop. I don't think you'll get much battery life if you don't. On my first delivery, one of the screens didn't turn on, but I returned and requested a replacement. It was Friday, on Sunday I got a replacement. If you know how to set display options, you can use your mouse to scroll from right to left and left to right. This makes for an ideal portable, handheld 3 screen setup. I can't say how durable they are, it's only been 2 days but I'm very satisfied.
