We have a medium haired dog and a long haired cat so I was looking for a carpet freshener. We also live on a ranch and there is a lot of dust and red dirt. The reviews were good so I ordered 4 packs. I only have one carpeted room, but we have carpets. This is a good product. The smell is pleasant, after cleaning it did not "stick out", I also used it in the car, the smell did not bother me. I used carpet powder about 4 weeks ago and will be using it again soon. We have a country house that mainly has carpets and I'm going to try carpet powder there soon.
