At $29.98, this is a great value for a helmet that has a CPSC certification for safety and a 2-year warranty. Don’t let the lower number of vent holes fool you, the larger openings work just as effectively. I’m not sure the side vents on my older helmet do much, so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. As others have mentioned, the visor implementation isn’t great. While I struggled to get it aligned evenly (see photo), I actually didn’t notice it being a bit crooked while riding. I really like that brow pad is so much easier to dry off than my older helmet, so it doesn’t retain as much sweat. I was a little worried about the sizing because I was right in-between at 57.5cm, but the Large/X-Large fits just fine and actually had a little more room to adjust smaller. Finally, I very much appreciate the minimal packaging. It already ships in an Revain box, so it was only wrapped in bubble wrap. No excessive glossy retail box with extra plastic, Styrofoam, cardboard, etc. Certainly more planet friendly. If you’re looking for a solid wallet friendly helmet, the Vibrelli Commuter Bike Helmet is a great option. It wouldn’t be fair to dock it points because it doesn’t have features of more expensive helmets (e.g., MIPS, LED light, etc.).
