I bought this because our last one broke from my 4 year old twins playing doctor, they washed it to fix the mistake. While delicious, it ruined my Braun ear thermometer. I've been looking for a new thermometer for a long time and took care of a non-contact one. Didn't want to rob the bank like I've done in the past, it seemed like a great price compared to others. Due to Covid prices have skyrocketed. I also travel a lot and try to stay healthy. I have used this for the kids, my husband and myself and it seems very accurate. It's easy to read and I love that I can also read the temperature in Celsius. I'm European and it's easier for me. I also like that it's lightweight and comes with a storage pouch. One thing I really wish it was waterproof and rechargeable. Somehow I missed it when I bought it. Other than that, this is a great buy.
