Scrap is a total waste of time and effort
The starter housing has a cut out for installing in place and a hole for wiring. The recess is also not in the same place as the hole. The metal that the brushes are attached to is reverse stamped with the brushes on the wrong side, the stator wiring connections do not match the original stator.
