Altura Monopod - August 2021: This sturdy pole is way better than I expected, especially considering the price. For older people like me with slightly trembling hands, this helps with telephoto and low-light shots. Specifically, it screws into the bottom of my camera while my hand holds a foam grip. That's a solid feeling. Extension clasps snap/click and open/close clearly. The tube extensions are grooved so they don't rotate but slide in and out smoothly. The rubber foot extends to cover the metal tip so it doesn't scratch the floor, but drives in to take pictures outdoors. For reference, it weighs 11 ounces with case and is 17 inches long at its shortest point. It just fits in my backpack. It stretches more than I need, but then I'm a little short. I am very impressed with this camera accessory. DB
