I have a 68" hallway kitchen (not uncommon in Manhattan) and needed to find an attractive cooktop that wouldn't take up much space . plenty of countertop space, as every centimeter counts. It looks much higher quality than it really is. This hob has proven itself very well. I am pleased with the ease of installation and the overall look. The burners are beautiful and powerful. The back is great for bringing a large pot to a quick boil. As you would expect from any stove with a black glass top, every drop of grease is visible but easy to wipe off, and the cast iron grate is sturdy (but not overly so). difficult). My only complaint would be that it's difficult to adjust the size of the flame. You need a very, very small screwdriver with a long shaft to insert it into the tiny hole in the valve stem. Live with it.
