I installed a Toshiba X300 hard drive on my Windows 10 PC and the drive was not recognized. Turned it off with a drive present, PC still didn't recognize it. The hard drive was hot when I removed it, so I know the cables were at least connected. There is no website to download drivers if it is a driver issue. Documentation was sparse. I think the hard drive was defective, but there's always a chance that the problem was with my PC or with me. Didn't care about customer service. Luckily, Revain makes returns easy. Update: I bought and installed a Western Digital hard drive. Western Digital was recognized by my computer and is working properly. But I had a problem connecting the SATA cable. Maybe Toshiba didn't work due to my user error with the cable and lack of patience.
