Excellent overall. Minor gripes: the block of ice needs fixing at the end (flip and serve again) but not sure if a competitor's product will be any better; the combination of base and plate overflows quickly, and you have to rotate the plate manually during work, otherwise it will overflow or clog; it's a bit messy to dry (we solve that by letting the wet end hang over the sink for hours). Otherwise no complaints. Produces real ice chips when serving hard bar ice. When serving ice cubes, you get very fine crushed ice. We both enjoy for different things.
