I took two of these cameras which included solar panels instead of all the other options due to the 100% wireless factor. Didn't want to bother with charging or changing batteries and was skeptical at first but after a week of ownership I think we have a winner. Along with my order of two cameras, I also picked up two 64GB micro SD cards. I didn't want to pay for a cloud service and am responsible for my own storage. I've read that 128GB cards are overkill and that opinion was true. Actually, 64GB SD cards might be overkill, but at $16 for two, that's fine. Out of the box, I installed the SD cards and charged each camera overnight using the cables that came with it. Both cameras were 100% charged, I connected them to Cloud Edge. app and format the SD cards. I have installed one camera in the front and one in the back of my house along with solar panels on the roof. I'm happy to report that both cameras are still showing 100% in the CloudEdge app after a full week of use. Solar panels work! The cameras are motion sensitive, which can be easily adjusted, but if a hummingbird or large bug (a grasshopper in my case) flies in front of the cameras, they'll record. You can change the default recording time from 20 seconds to 40 and 60 seconds if you like. Each instance of the alert sometimes appears twice, one with two screenshots and the other with a video. I still don't understand why I sometimes get two different notifications, but I can live with that. You can watch a live stream that includes audio and two-way communication, which is nice. During a live broadcast, you can spontaneously take screenshots and record videos. The video is good but not outstanding. Meaning. When the person is close it is very clear, but when the person is more than 10 feet away it is not a clear image. 1 star deducted for that. Night vision works well but as expected not as clear as during the day but still acceptable. There is a 1 star deduction for that. The recording volume is very sensitive, picking up the chirping of birds in the background and any noise you might hear if they were present. The back of the solar panels is white so I painted them black to better match my roof. I wish the solar cables were white to match my gutters and wood paneling. I love that you can turn off the motion sensors from the app when you're home so you don't get notifications on your phone all day. IMO these cameras are worth the price for a wireless solution. In fact, I might buy a third one just to hide inside somewhere. just in case.
