Review on Dorman 742 250 Window Lift Motor by Sirious Cavalli

I was about to rebuild my old motor but when I saw the cost of this replacement motor I was friendly. easy business. I only had one problem and it was that I couldn't get a socket on the exposed screw to tighten for installation (the other two screws are not visible and need to be drilled with a 1/2" drill bit to fix them to expose). So I took metal snips and cut the metal door just long enough to bend it and get a socket on the latch. Probably less than 1/4 inch. After screwing everything up, everything worked great and still works. Do yourself a favor, however, after drilling the two concealed screw access holes (marked as knockouts in the door), apply some silicone or grease to the socket to hold the screws in place when removing and installing to hold position. new so that nothing falls through the door. Other than that, I had less than an hour from start to finish including removing and replacing the door panel.
