My husband tossed 3 of these ice packs in his insulated fridge. He said they didn't get his drinks really cold. However, when he threw his drinks in the fridge first and then put them in the fridge along with ice packs, he said they were much better at keeping drinks cold. Ice packs "sweat", but for our purposes this is normal. The only downside really is that they melt quickly (he has to change ice packs after about 6 hours) and they don't really help get drinks cold, just keep them cold. Overall this is a good product but I would only recommend it for shorter periods of time (less than 6 hours).
