Perfect lightweight lunch box ice pack

My 9 and 7 year old girls love these new ice packs for their school lunches. This keeps the food cool, but being smaller/thinner they don't freeze the food. They're also lightweight, which helps ensure that your packed lunches or book bags don't add extra weight. We also use them when someone has a small cut/scratch/bruise.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Better than expected!

After reading some negative reviews I was concerned they wouldn't last very long. I put all six in the igloo lunch fridge. They lasted about 7.5 hours at 84Β°, sat on the floor of very warm, heavy equipment, and saved four 16.9-ounce water bottles, 2 medicinal apples, 1 sandwich, and 1 small yogurt. I am very happy with their performance.

Pros
  • Quality finish
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Creates a good habitat for food.

ice packs keep lunch boxes cool. It's hard to make them sexier, but so far it's a good product. The fact that they're sold in several thinner blocks instead of one giant plastic mound means they're easier to strategically place in a lunch box, allowing more items from the fridge to come into contact with the cold surface. This is a plus!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Secret

Keeps you cold all day. Suitable for refrigerator accessories

They fit perfectly in my Coleman lunch box (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006HFC3K2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1). They fit exactly both vertically and horizontally. They're easy to stack and the more you stack them, the longer they stay cold. I pack my lunch at 7:30 and get home at 6:30 and at the end of the day they are still frozen. I love how versatile they are and how cold they keep my lunch. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Minor issues

Works well! for outdoor recreation

My husband tossed 3 of these ice packs in his insulated fridge. He said they didn't get his drinks really cold. However, when he threw his drinks in the fridge first and then put them in the fridge along with ice packs, he said they were much better at keeping drinks cold. Ice packs "sweat", but for our purposes this is normal. The only downside really is that they melt quickly (he has to change ice packs after about 6 hours) and they don't really help get drinks cold, just keep them cold…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Frozen 10 hours in cooler bag

After spending hours trying to find decent ice packs on Revain I settled on these based on the description and reviews. I bought these for my daughter's school lunch box, which I haven't tested yet. However, I've used two in addition to my regular Rubbermaid ice packs to dress up the bottom of my BIG cooler bag and my food and drinks have never been kept colder. Mostly around 5 o'clock in the day my freezer bags are defrosted and food is warmed up. Everything stayed cold for over 10 hours…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Many things

Remained frozen at 29-31 degrees after 12.5 hours!

I flew from New York to California. I used an insulated SCOUT lunch bag to store frozen fish and attached 6 blocks of ice to the bottom, top, sides and center of the lunch bag, which turned out to be the right choice. Then I put the full bag in a small commercial insulating bag to store the frozen bread. I placed the bag of food in the cockpit of the plane above me. When I arrived 12.5 hours late from the trip everything was still frozen, even after a 1 hour cab ride home in 80 degree heat and…

Pros
  • This is amazing
