They are quite thin. I wear a half helmet and needed to add some speakers. These make it almost fine. The downside is that they only come with 2 small Velcro straps. It only sticks them in one place. When you put on a helmet, they flap around everywhere. If they were attached in 2 places it would be better. Subtlety is the best I can find. Most are too fat. It is very good. They stay soft in my ears as I fiddle with them a bit each time to make sure they're in the right place. I put some glue on the hard plastic on the side of the helmet to hold the top in place. I used the velcro on the bottom to attach the bottom piece to the helmet strap.
