This base is weak and breaks easily
This base cracked and the antenna fell off at the first slight bend in the flexible antenna. The base is poorly designed and weak near the threaded section that holds the antenna. An OEM part would never break like this, and it's strong around the threads, allowing the antenna to be bent over and over without breaking the base.
