Worked great to solve my P1416 code on 2000 Silverado. If you need to replace this, consider getting the ones that have hoses attached. I'm nimble and with the right wrenches and penetrating lube I STILL had to use heat to break them. It's a steel pipe attached to the exhaust that this aluminum valve is attached to. They got stuck. I did my job, but it might have cost a few bucks more to get the piped version, especially for those uncomfortable using a blowtorch next to the engine! - Chris
