Review on ๐Ÿงผ 6-inch Ettore 17006 Acrylic Squeegee - Clear, Advanced SEO by Brinson Quarterman

Modification required

If you plan on using this scraper straight out of the box, good luck. The slightest jolt to this squeegee and it will fall apart. It didn't fall apart on first use, simply because it was dropped onto a granite countertop from about a foot away. You're fooling yourself if you think you're not going to drop it at least once, especially if you plan on using it in the shower. Wet hands + slick plastic = slippery, right? The process of joining the plastic together to hold the rubber in place is very inadequate. I bought three #8-32 nylon bolts, washers and nuts, and the drill bit that came with it. I drilled three evenly spaced holes in the plastic about half an inch below the rubber and attached them with nylon bolts, nuts, and washers. With this modification, the mop works great. There is no more water. Small and maneuverable, the clear acrylic is stylish and attractive. The rubber seems to have the perfect flex strength to remove water in one go. The bottom line is if you feel like spending a few extra bucks at the hardware store and time to modify this jig, it will work for you. If you're looking for a mop that works as intended right out of the box, I suggest you look elsewhere.
