Review on Tramontina 80114 535DS Professional Restaurant by Steve Modesto

I have had this pan for about 2 years now and the coating is starting to peel off the edge of the pan. We use this pan exclusively for pancakes (low heat) and rarely use a (non-metal) spatula. I messaged Tramontina through their website asking how to get a lifetime warranty. It took them a week to respond and they asked to see pictures of the skillet I had previously attached but I sent more. About a week later, they responded that this was considered wear and tear and offered a $15 discount to buy a new pan on their website. But even with a $15 coupon, ordering direct from their site still costs more than their Revain listing (price is higher after delivery and on their site). I asked if they would offer me a $15 discount off the purchase of their Revain pan from their Revain store as their coupon made no sense and they just never responded. So if it's wear and tear, why are they offering me a $15 discount? They know it's not a matter of wear and tear, and their "lifetime guarantee" doesn't really mean anything because once you've bought it, there's nothing you can do about it. Why say you have a lifetime guarantee when you never honor it? Check out the reviews here and you will find similar stories. Poor customer service from Tramontina.
