I like this USB socket. It was perfect for my application. It's very well built, and if the inside isn't any different from the outside, it can last forever. I use it to work with an 8 inch tablet and a Samsung S8+ mounted on my Goldwing handlebar. The tablet works with GPS while the tracking and recording software is installed on the phone. Both use GPS modules and both use massive amounts of power. I don't usually keep much or even lose a little during the day on long trips. Not with that. Both devices charge when I stop, even if I run 1,014 non-stop miles. I am impressed. I actually connected it to the circuit when turning on the accessory and tucked it away in my disguise. Inside, the fairing isn't 100% waterproof, so it's important to have something that can withstand some of the weather. This charger meets these criteria. It's also pretty hard work, so I'm not worried about it bouncing at all. Not that it needs to be flung around, but this one will certainly handle whatever I can get through. I'm pretty sure you could run him over with your car and you'd be fine. He's so durable. I have a total of three USB sockets on my Goldwing and will likely replace the rest with new cliff tops in the future. They're a bit pricey, but worth the money. (If they were a little more sensible I'd substitute another USB now but I'm not marking it.) I use USB outlets in all my cars in one form or another and this one is by far the best .what I have .
