Need a shop heater. I have three maintenance garages and one garage is used as a workshop. It's pretty cold in the garage in winter. I didn't want to buy this heater because I thought it was too small and wouldn't produce enough heat. Yes, it's small, but that's a plus. Very easy to move. What I didn't expect is how quickly it heats up and how warm it actually gets. This little machine can generate a decent amount of heat. The thermostat control is also nice. This way you can set it to maximum to quickly warm up to a comfortable temperature. Then lower it until it shuts off. At this point the heater will regulate itself to maintain the set temperature. I thought it would only heat a small work area but this thing will actually heat an area in the workshop equivalent to a one car garage which is perfect for my needs. I've only had it a week so can't comment on how well it's holding up, but it looks well made and sturdy.
