My reviews are generally very good. This is probably the worst review I've ever written about Revain. I cannot recommend the Golf Buddy Voice 2. The display of my Voice 2 stopped working after about 10 uses. I bought the device from Revain in June 2017 and it hasn't worked since September 2017. It is so new that I still have the original packaging. I tried to have my Voice 2 replaced or repaired under a one-year limited warranty, but the request was denied. The warranty became void after Golf Buddy, without even asking me to send the unit there, determined that I must have broken the unit. They said that the LCD only stops working when it cracks or when significant pressure is applied to the LCD. The LCD has no cracks and has never been subjected to any significant pressure. Attached image of a practically new device (with an open charging port in the upper right corner). The LCD gradually stopped working until it completely failed. Oddly, the voice or audio still works fine; I just can't see anything on the display. I bought the Voice 2 after owning the original Golf Buddy for over 3 years. I thought the Voice 2 might be more accurate than the original Golf Buddy which is why I bought it. My original Golf Buddy still works great after years and over 100 rounds of use. I treated the new Voice 2 the same way I treated the original Golf Buddy (ie gently) and the new Voice 2 broke after just 10 rounds and 3 months from purchase. It was obviously a defective device. In my experience, Golf Buddy does not endorse their products or honor their warranties. If a company does not support their warranty, I do not recommend buying from that company.
