Cold Weather Gloves I Wish I Had 40 Years Ago

I started working full time at a young age and most of my first jobs had varying degrees of cold ass during the winter. In truth, I've *never* found gloves that feel really comfortable in temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, especially in windy conditions or relatively sedentary work (e.g. my first few jobs). Times have changed and I'm rarely in extreme cold, but when I saw these gloves I had to buy a pair anyway. Where I live now it sometimes gets below freezing (F) in the winter and I still haven't found a way to warm my hands. I won't know for sure if these gloves will live up to the bill by next winter, but I'm hopeful. To say that these gloves are expensive is an understatement. This is serious outdoor gear. Seems very well made with the right ingredients to fight the elements. Gore-Tex for waterproofness, soft leather for good dexterity and grip, straps to hold the gloves firmly on the back of the hand and an elasticated cuff. There is an elastic hand/arm strap so you don't drop your glove if you need to take one or both off for work. I'll update my review as soon as I get a chance to use it in the cold. Meanwhile - they seem very, very promising. The manufacturer rates these gloves as follows (on a scale of 1 to 5): Flexibility: 4 Warmth: 4 Durability: 5 Waterproof: 5 Grip: 5
