The best gloves I've ever had.

These gloves are very well made. These are the best quality and fit gloves I have ever owned. These are outdoor gloves with a leather palm and excellent stitching. The heater is very warm. The fingers are isolated and I can still move well with them when I can clench my fists and hold objects. These are the gloves I will be wearing for outdoor activities like shoveling, skiing and just plain chilling. I love that they pass my wrist and close the jacket. I have worn Mountain Hardwear for many…

Very Quality Gloves and Mittens

From Mountain Hardwear these gloves are simply stunning. They come complete with a hanging hook and a small cardboard plaque that looks like it's meant to be hung on a retail shelf. Outer gloves are made of nylon and goatskin. The palm and the inside of the thumb area are reinforced with additional leather material. The inside of the gloves looks like they are lined with fleece and then inside the real gloves they are insulated with Primaloft Gold, a synthetic insulation that is very warm and I

Wow Mountain Hardwear put a lot of good things into this glove

I think this is a great choice of serious winter gloves for skiing hiking etc. These are no ordinary gloves. ; every part of it is of high quality. Leather isn't just leather, it's armortan leather with ceramics that increase wear and water resistance. Insulation isn't just basic insulation, it's Primaloft Cross Core. The Cross Core uses Primaloft's Airgel fiber technology to create lightweight, water-repellent, not-too-stiff and heat-restricting insulation, which I think is a huge plus. Also…

world gloves.

These are amazing gloves. They have: 1) pit skin. Pittards goes on and on. I have Pittard gloves that are many years old and still work great. Pittards makes its own gloves, but its leather is also used in a variety of gloves where a supple, thin, durable and abrasion-resistant leather is required. For example, I have Pearl Izumi cycling gloves with Pittards leather. Simply wash in water with conditioning soap. 2) Gore-Tex lining. I got my first Gore-Tex product many years ago, when Gore-Tex…

Cold Weather Gloves I Wish I Had 40 Years Ago

I started working full time at a young age and most of my first jobs had varying degrees of cold ass during the winter. In truth, I've *never* found gloves that feel really comfortable in temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, especially in windy conditions or relatively sedentary work (e.g. my first few jobs). Times have changed and I'm rarely in extreme cold, but when I saw these gloves I had to buy a pair anyway. Where I live now it sometimes gets below freezing (F) in the winter and I…

bring winter! (Well, not *just* yet!)

It's June in NYC so I can't confirm how well they work in winter, but after trying a bunch of gloves I have really high expectations. I use it mainly for blowing snow (when hands often get cold just from not moving them much and gripping the handles slows blood flow) and hiking in nature in the middle of winter. I like that they are thick enough to get the job done, yet flexible enough to hold fan grips and trekking poles. The construction went very well. The leather is very soft and the…

Generally excellent, warmed up to zero. A problem and a solution

Solution first - Revain's description says 100% nylon, but the outer skin is actually Pittards goatskin, which will last forever. Also a concern - for so many years I was impressed with Gore-Tex, but then all the news came out about PFAS chemicals, which means chemicals forever. Almost all Gore-Tex have permanent chemicals in them, I'm not sure what the test is or how to find out what potentially dangerous chemicals are in here. I contacted the brand for more information. That concern aside…

Hard wearing gloves with excellent performance. But not for real work.

Here are the gloves you should get if you want a durable glove that doesn't look like you just got back from the ski resort. Even if you just did it. The leather trim looks great. However, the leather feels quite thin and soft to the touch, so you won't want to use them for heavy physical work like carrying a tree, fighting bushes, construction work, etc. For that you need a cheaper and more durable glove than you can beat. regularly lift and replace without having to take out a loan. All the…
