Review on Compact Professional Triplett SoniChek 3550 by Dennis Goozmer

Bought for work. It arrived and I put in the batteries that came with it and turned it on. The display and backlight worked great. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I can say. The power button did NOT work to turn off the device unless you pressed it almost immediately after turning on the device. The automatic shutdown didn't work either. I could work around the power button issue a bit if the counter was at least roughly accurate. The maximum I could get was around 38 dB. The SPL Meter app on my phone was more accurate. I will definitely be returning it and would not recommend it.
