I really like this sofa cover a lot. It is very soft and comfortable and definitely feels soft like chenille. The fabric is thin but seems substantial enough, like upholstery fabric, and it is supposed to be machine washable. I haven't had it long enough to need to launder it, but I think that the fact that it is not too thick will mean it will be easier to wash and dry in a regular washer and dryer.I got the color Patterndy13 and it is a nice neutral gray color with a white geometric design. I like that the design is not too old fashioned looking like some other sofa covers seem to be. I was worried that my husband would dislike it, but he said he thinks it looks and feels nice.I have a pet rabbit with long hair; she is very messy and she sheds a lot. My rabbit has free range of the family room and she often goes up on the sofa. I believe that this sofa cover will help protect the sofa from her fur and general messiness.My sofa is 80" long and this cover (Large: 71"x 118") covers the arms with a nice amount of drape on all 4 sides. There is a 1" border of fringe around the entire piece. The fringe is part of the fabric, not sewn on but the actual edge of the piece. I live in Colorado where the climate is very dry and this does not seem to cause a problem with static electricity like the blanket I previously had over the sofa. It seems to stay in place without sliding around and without getting big wrinkles in it - this is definitely a big improvement over having a blanket over the sofa because the blanket looked so sloppy. This sofa cover looks much nicer and neater than a blanket (even the nice blanket that I got from Costco which was previously on the couch).There were a couple of small snags in the fabric when I removed it from the packaging and unfolded it. I plan to use a tiny crochet hook and pull the snags to the underside of the cover. I did subtract 1 star because of the snags. One corner of the cover has a number woven into the fabric, like a code for which color or model number. It's not noticeable once the cover is draped over the sofa.I attached photos of the both the outside and reverse side of the fabric. The reverse side is not as soft and doesn't have the same nap as the outside, but still looks decent.Overall, I really like this sofa cover and I'm very happy that I got it. If this washes well, I plan to get another one for my living room sofa as well.
