This is the second card I bought for my old Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD5 based PC ( PCIE v2.0 ) with the latest version of Windows 10. Pros: + This option was easier to install than the previous one. + It allows me to enjoy my new Crucial X8 external SSD at 400 Mbit/s (read) and 200 Mbit/s (write). Not bad considering there is no SATA connector on this expansion card (PCIE only). Cons: - The only problem at the moment is the location of the holes. It's a little too close to the limit (see screenshots). Depending on the USB-C cable I use, my SSD sometimes mounts incorrectly in Windows.
