Very good overall good for me

I got this for my son so that he could continue to work on his batting in the backyard. Everything works well and is well manufactured except with the ball stand which needs a little help. First, the backstop. Set up is super easy consisting of 8 pieces which are so intuitive I didn’t even need the instruction manual to put it together. The pocket is about a 3x3 square and is very deep so all the balls fly in and just drop to the ground as designed. It stands 7’ tall but I’ve found that if you hit the ball just right (or just wrong) you can send it over the net even if you hit it from only 3’ away as my neighbor will confirm. But overall it works well with solid poles and a heavy net.The ball stand is also fairly well made with a tripod system that extends with a twist knob that locks it into place as well as another twist knob that locks the three legs after spreading them further apart. It comes with a rubber tip for the ball to sit on so that even a badly hit ball only hits the rubber. The problem is the very thing that the ad says it has going for it. Other ball stands have a much heavier bottom stand so that even a badly hit hall does little more than rock the stand. With this one, if you hit a little too low and hit even the rubber portion too hard, you can send the entire ball stand up into the net. I’ve had to fill some sand bags and place it in the legs to prevent this. Outside of that one issue, the set is a pretty well built combination.
