later I like these boots, the foot size is very accurate, I think I have long skinny legs and I was concerned that 9.5 would not be long enough (since 9.5 sometimes is a bit small depending on the company) but fits well. The only issue I had with my first order was that I didn't realize how small the regular ones were or that my calves were bigger than I imagined. So I had to send the normal one back and take the wide one. So if you are athletic with a reasonable amount of muscle and think you have small enough calves for regular training. You may need to reconsider regularity and try distance first. The ankle has a soft feel and is a little wide, but I'm sure with a little tweaking and tightening of the strings it will fit nicely around the leg and foot. Overall good boots, can't wait to break them in! The great thing about this company is free returns! So don't be afraid to try it on and if it doesn't fit, resize the boot to the size you really need and hopefully it will be a charm the second time around.
