Review on Dorman 602-208 Windshield Wiper Transmission: Reliable Replacement for Smooth Wiper Performance by Joseph Whiteman

I had a broken OEM plastic part. No parts store in two counties had a replacement, so I ordered it here from Revain for less than my local parts store. I took the part to the workshop. They broke both sides of the old wiper gear and refused to work on it for fear of damaging the new parts. So I had to do the repair myself. I highly recommend getting a decent puller to remove the wiper arms if you can't remove them by hand. I used boiling water to keep the car from burning and a puller to remove a wiper arm and I had to cut a bolt and knock it out of the other arm with a hammer. The puller I bought became unusable after all this. Once the arms were removed, replacing the wiper gear was fairly easy. There are good videos and articles online showing how to do the exchange.
