Review on Enhanced Motorcraft DY1401 Exhaust Gas Sensor for Improved Performance by Aaron Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Correct sensor, fair price

I ordered 4 O2 sensors for my Ford E150 XL '06 because someone stole the whole exhaust from it. I didn't want to pack a whole bunch of parts on it, so I replaced them with original Motorcraft sensors. They work exactly as they should and I had no problem smoking them here in California. Just remember that if you're installing an O2 sensor with the intention of testing it for smog, you'll need to drive the car up to 100 miles before it's ready for testing, so be aware of that in advance. If your vehicle is currently unregistered, it is best to obtain a relocation permit from the DMV. (That was my case). I had to drive about 50 miles before they went online. Some need to travel more, some less. You can never go wrong with original spare parts.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
